1st Saturday of the month! The Family History Expo comes to Bellevue this year. Here is the link for the 2010 Expo for information, classes and registration: http://www.wafamilyhistory.net/  This year it will be held in the Bellevue FHC at 14536 Main St. from 8 am to 5 pm. Check back often for further updates for the will be adding more information in the next months.

 

Conferences and Seminars

The following conferences and seminars occur annually in the genealogical community:

May

National Genealogical Society Conference "Where the Past is the Present" in Charleston, South Carolina May 11 to 14, 2011. Here is a link for more information as it becomes available" http://www.ngsgenealogy.org/cs/conference_info)

July:

The 30th International Conference on Jewish Genealogy (IAJGS) will be held in Los Angeles, California July 11-20, 2010.  You can find information on this conference at: http://www.jgsla2010.com/  It will be at the JW Marriott Hotel in Los Angeles. 

August:

The Association of Professional Genealogists (APG) presents their Professional Management Conference (PMC) on August 17, 2010 in Knoxville, Tennessee.  This conference is held in conjunction with the Federation of Genealogical Societies Conference (FGS).  The APG Roundtable will be held on Tuesday, August 16, 2009 before the PMC 7 to 9 p.m. The theme of this conference will be "Charting Your Path To Success."

The Federation of Genealogical Societies will hold their conference in Knoxville, Tennessee. September:

Washington State Genealogical Society Conference, Friday through Sunday.  The theme is "Journey of Discovery." September 17 to 18th, 2010 in Chehalis, Washington  Check back often at the WSGS website for updates on this conference.

November: 

The Family History Expo held at either the Bellevue or Redmond Family History Center.  This seminar is usually scheduled on the 2nd Saturday in November.  The website for the expo goes live approximately one month prior to the event.
